Low-Income Citizens

UAE families with incomes below the minimum threshold required to ensure a stable quality of life are eligible for financial assistance provided through the Social Support Program, subject to the program's terms and conditions.

Autism

It is a disorder of the central nervous system (brain), and a type of developmental disorder which happens at early stages of development, it is characterized by a deficiency in the cessation of the growth of sensory and linguistic perception, which affects the individual's ability to communicate and interact socially and emergence of different behaviors and responses to environmental stimuli.

Social Organizations

All organized associations that have the capacity of continuity for a limited or unlimited period, consisting of natural or legal persons with the purpose of achieving social, religious, cultural, scientific, educational, professional, feminist, creative, artistic activity, or providing humanitarian services, or achieving one of the purposes of charity, or solidarity whether through assistance, moral support, or technical expertise and seeking in all their activities public interest solely without obtaining any financial profit. Membership is open to everyone in accordance with the provisions of this law, and the determining factor in identifying the association's goal is the main purpose for which it was established.

Inflation Allowance

Flexible and variable government support, disbursed monthly to UAE citizens, in light of the rise in prices and inflation at the local and global levels. In accordance with economic and social development to enable beneficiaries to meet basic needs such as: fuel allowances, food allowances, electricity and water allowances.

Marriage Grant

A financial support provided to UAE citizens intending to get married with the aim of contributing to the formation of cohesive and stable families within the specified conditions and regulations of the grant.

Mashagel Project

Project targeting People of Determination through providing vocational rehabilitation and employment centers that are established and supervised by the Ministry for the purpose of providing them with employment opportunities and inclusion in the labor market to enhance their confidence as individuals and partners in the economic development.

Mass Wedding

A service provided by the Ministry to UAE young future spouses by organizing mass weddings in cooperation with the public and private sectors with the aim of reducing financial costs and burdens from young people and ensuring they start of a stable family life.

Open Data

All data and information produced, collected or purchased by government entities which are not confidential such as statistics, data and information resulting from government-funded projects, that can be accessed and used to conduct research and studies in a safe and reliable manner. The Ministry of Community Development provides many files and documents that include content for use and reuse, within the concept of "open data" aimed at enhancing participation and raising the level of general and specialized knowledge of the Ministry's work and practices, in compliance with the principles of transparency, openness, cooperation and participation.

Social Subsidy Program

The Social welfare program is a comprehensive, flexible and integrated financial support program launched by the Ministry of Community Development in implementation of the UAE wise leadership vision and directives of the UAE government. The program provides financial allowances to enhance the wellbeing of UAE individuals and citizens and their families.

People of Determination (Persons with Disabilities)

Term announced by the UAE government for the people with disabilities while maintaining the internationally recognized terminology (persons with disabilities), acknowledging their significant efforts in achieving accomplishments and overcoming all challenges in various vital fields in the UAE.

Pre-Marriage Courses -Eddad

Awareness mandatory program to prepare young future spouses for marriage, thus mandatory to receive the marriage grant.

Qelada

Qelada project is the first of its kind in the UAE, it is part of the initiatives of the National Policy for the Empowerment of People of Determination and inclusion into the labor market, they transform the scraps of damaged banknotes into colored stones to manufacture art pieces of jewelry and others.

UAE Volunteers

National platform that allows individuals and entities to participate in the volunteering opportunities provided by government and authorities and private sector.
