"UAE Wins 7 Awards at the 'Theater Festival for Persons with Disabilities' in Qatar"

The UAE concluded its participation in the seventh edition of the Theater Festival for Persons with Disabilities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which was held in the State of Qatar from November 27 to December 3, with the theatrical performance "The Journey of a Lifetime" winning 7 various awards, during the honoring ceremony at the Opera Theater at the Cultural Village Foundation "Katara".

The awards won by the play and produced by the Ministry of Community Development included winning third place as the best integrated work equally with the play "The Ship is Still Standing" from the Sultanate of Oman, while the artist Naji Juma won the award for the best actor without disabilities, equally with the artist Faisal Rashid for his role in the play "Al-Dana" from Qatar, in addition to Fatima Saleh winning first place in the category of best actresses with disabilities, and Mohammed Rashid Al-Ghafli won second place as the best actor from In the category of artistic awards, the play won the award for the best theatrical script, and Hamad Bilal Al-Shehhi won a special incentive award for his role in the play.
