The Ministry of Community Empowerment has launched the "Sensory Capsule" to provide an interactive, distraction-free classroom environment for students with determination, particularly those with autism. The ministry stated that the "Sensory Capsule" was specifically developed to support students with special needs and provide occupational therapy focused on sensory aspects. The idea behind the capsule is to overcome challenges related to adaptation issues and attention span disruptions in classrooms. It relies on artificial intelligence techniques to analyze the student's behavior inside the capsule through a dedicated camera. The capsule is equipped with soundproofing, along with devices that provide sensory stimuli for users, as well as a mirror therapy system.
The ministry emphasized that the launch of the "Sensory Capsule," which has received a patent, aligns with its goals to develop the skills of staff in centers for people of determination and improve the services offered to them, especially those with autism. The concerned teams are also working to update the educational environment in government centers for people of determination using advanced technology, in line with the country's vision and contributing to improving the quality of education provided to students with determination.
